Each spring, franchise update media publishes its multi-brand 50 ranking of the largest U.S. franchisees that operate more than one brand. To create the list, FRANdata combs through its extensive database to find the country's biggest multi-brand operators (by number of units). In addition, Franchise Update's editorial staff provides follow-up research to ensure that the list is as current as possible. The "MB50" also includes the top 25 brands these franchisees operate.
