2021 Franchise Update Media Innovation Awards Entry Closes May 10

The most innovative ideas, concepts, and strategies in franchising will once again be recognized by the premier industry award spotlighting innovation in franchise brands and systems – the annual Franchise Innovation Awards.

The Franchise Innovation Awards set the standard for recognizing franchise systems that demonstrate the core values of business innovation in areas such as building market share and engaging employees and customers for business sustainability. A panel of expert judges will review all entries searching for the brands that best instill the vision, strategy, and execution of innovation in their organizations.

Any franchise brand is eligible to submit its innovative ideas and results in four categories: 1) Marketing & Branding, 2) Products & Services, 3) Human Resources, and 4) Operations. Each category also includes awards in different areas of innovation. 

The call for entries is open through May 10. Submissions can be made by franchisors directly, or by agencies and franchisees acting on their behalf with franchisor approval.

The 2021 Franchise Innovation Awards winners will be announced in the 3rd quarter editions of both Franchise Update magazine and Multi-Unit Franchisee magazine. An overview of each award winner’s case study will be included in both the print and digital editions of the two magazines. Winners also will also receive recognition in Franchise Update Media’s weekly newsletters, social media platforms, and be archived online at franchising.com.
