Roy Rogers Brings Back the Hot Ham & Cheese
FREDERICK, Maryland, January 2, 2007 - Roy Rogers Restaurants announced today the return of its always popular Hot Ham & Cheese sandwich for a limited time only through February 13. This delicious sandwich consists of grilled Hormel Cure 81 ham and melted Monterey Jack cheese on a Hearth-baked Kaiser roll. Guests can customize this sandwich by visiting Roy Rogers' famous Fixin's Bar, which features a dozen different condiments, such as fresh lettuce, tomatoes and pickles.
The sandwich sells for $3.29, and the combo meal, which includes a choice of side dish and a regular drink, will be $5.29. The Hot Ham & Cheese promotion will run for approximately eight weeks in 20 restaurants throughout Maryland and Virginia, and will be supported through radio advertising and local store marketing activities.
Director of Operations, Barbara Pacifico, stated, "By offering the Hot Ham & Cheese sandwich, we provide our guests with a high quality product at a good value."
