PJ’s Coffee Brings Flavor From The French Quarter to Tomball

November 21, 2025 // Franchising.com // TOMBALL, Texas – PJ’s Coffee is brewing up excitement with a grand opening celebration set for its newest location on Thursday, Nov. 20.

The festivities will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. hosted alongside the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce. Guests can enjoy free small hot or iced coffee, pastry and coffee samples, giveaway items and a chance to enter for Free Coffee for a Year. Since opening on Oct. 6, Tomball’s PJ’s Coffee has seen its beignets become a top seller.

Franchisees Greg Tran and Pauline Nguyen bring diverse professional backgrounds to their new venture, having worked in finance, oil and gas equipment manufacturing, and building materials. Their journey with PJ’s Coffee began during their time at the University of New Orleans, where they first learned about the brand and met founder Phyllis Jordan during a business class presentation on entrepreneurship.

“Opening PJ’s Coffee in Tomball is a milestone for us,” said Tran. “From our very first taste of PJ’s, we knew this was a brand we wanted to bring to Texas. We can’t wait to share the energy, flavor and tradition of New Orleans with our guests, and we look forward to celebrating with them at our grand opening.”

Operating daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tomball’s newest coffee shop features a drive-thru — offering a welcoming environment for morning coffee runs, casual meetups and weekend treats.
